Yin Wood Web Development was founded by Fr Madeo C. Reyes. It started its operation on a borrowed house, generously lent by the Alcantara family on Oct. 2, 1991 in San Pablo City, Laguna, with the mission of helping the abandoned, homeless elderly, and those who are hungry.
The house started with 5 elderly and then gradually grew, because of the awareness of the kind-hearted people of San Pablo City, the number of elderly people increased and continues to increase through the referral of private citizens. As the number of elderly increases, a good number of volunteers from church organizations and private individuals also increases. The house lives in the spirit of “Divine Providence” and as a way of life, lives in the spirit of the Divine teaching of Our Lord Jesus Christ – “whatever you do to the least of my brothers, you do it unto me” (Mt. 25:40) – “feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, clothing the naked, welcoming the stranger, caring for the sick, visiting those in prison” (Mt. 25: 35-36).
