Conversion of St. Paul Parish

The Conversion of St. Paul Parish Church is a historic Roman Catholic church located along J. P. Rizal Street in the Municipality of Pitogo, Quezon, within the Bondoc Peninsula. Established in 1850 and currently under the Diocese of Gumaca, the parish is situated on a hill overlooking Tayabas Bay, near the Maaliw Barangay Hall and Pitogo Fire Station. Known for its distinct façade and classical architectural design, the church was constructed using coral stones during the 1800s, making it one of the few remaining old churches in the region.

According to local accounts, the image of St. Paul was discovered in the area in 1817, which later inspired the church’s dedication to the Conversion of St. Paul. The parish celebrates its feast day every January 25 and continues to serve as an important religious and historical landmark in Pitogo, Quezon.
